As part of its spin-off from HERTZ Auto Corporation, Hertz Equipment Rental Company (HERC) needed a new public facing website and web app that would showcase its unique image and branding to the marketplace and better support its customers. These new technology platforms needed to reinforce and support the launch of the company and set a new standard for what customers and the market could expect from HERC as an independently owned and operated public company.
Worry Free Labs partnered with HERC on strategy, content strategy, user experience design, visual design and art direction for its new public facing website and webapp. A new, responsive website experience was designed to increase user and customer engagement and improve its existing high volume of web traffic.
On their first day as an independent company, HERC successfully launched their new website and mobile app – a critical milestone to showcase to their new investors their commitment and ability to deliver change. The mobile app and website set new technology and user experience standards for the equipment rental industry.
